And like many laser machines, there can be a level of discomfort during some parts of the treatment, but it varies from person to person. If you want to reduce any potential discomfort, we do sell numbing creams, which you can apply 60 minutes or more before treatment.
The duration of the removal process depends on several factors, including the size and colour of the tattoo, the type of ink used, and your skin type. On average, it can take between 3 - 12 sessions to fully remove an eyebrow tattoo, and less if you’d only prefer to have the brow tattoo lightened.
For optimal results, it's recommended that laser tattoo removal treatments be spaced five to six weeks apart, giving your body's natural immune process enough time to remove the broken-down tattoo ink particles before your next session.
Once the tattoo is fully removed, there is no maintenance required.
While most types of eyebrow tattoos can be removed, it depends on the type of ink used and the depth at which it was injected. Black and brown tattoo colours are much easier to remove than unusual brow colours such as red and yellow.
Therefore, a small test patch will be conducted by our laser tattoo removal certified experts before any tattoo removal treatment commences. This is also a perfect time to ask any questions you might have during your consultation.
Absolutely! You can certainly re-tattoo your eyebrows after tattoo removal and most of our clients do. However, it's important to wait until your skin has fully healed and wait for any scarring to fade before considering a new eyebrow tattoo.
The time you need to wait before getting a new eyebrow tattoo after removal depends on the condition of your skin and the severity of the previous tattoo. In general, it's recommended to wait for at least 2 to 4 months before considering a new eyebrow tattoo.
